We are a part of Department of Natural Products at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research-S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali).

We are broadly interested in natural products databases and their applications. This group was established in 2006 as a project activity of the project “Survey and Evaluation of Pharmaceutical Potential of North East India”. The project was assigned by Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India.

The print and electronic databases of this project have been launched in public domain in collaboration with National Medicinal Plant Board on their Website.

Presently the group is creating LC-MS, HPLC and HPTLC databases of Ayurvedic Medicines and North- East medicinal plants. The Ethno-medicinal database of Bihar is in it's final stages and shall be launched in public domain shortly.
