We are a part of Department of Natural Products at National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research-S.A.S. Nagar (Mohali).

We are broadly interested in natural products databases and their applications. This group was established in 2006 as a project activity of the project 'Survey and Evaluation of Pharmaceutical Potential of North East India'. The print and electronic database of this project has been launched in public domain in collaboration with National Medicinal Plant Board on their Website. Further the group conducted 'Survey and Evaluation of Ethno-medicinal wealth of Greater Bihar' (Bihar and Jharkhand), this database is also in public domain on this web site. Both the projects were assigned by Department of Pharmaceuticals, Ministry of Chemicals and Fertilizers, Government of India. 

Of recent, the group has created LC-MS, HPLC and HPTLC profile databases of Ayurvedic medicinal plants and formulations under the project 'Standardization of Herbal Products'.
